My April TBR | How Many Books Can I Fit Into This Month?

Because I don’t have much time to write many reviews, I’m behind once again. But that’s okay, because I’m still reading and once I get the chance to write a well-thought out review, I’ll definitely jump on that chance. In the meantime, how ’bout I share which books I hope to read sometime this month!?

It’s April, meaning finals (and graduation!) are right around the corner. So, my TBR can’t be that extensive. Three or four books should do the trick!

Daughter of the Pirate King | Tricia Levenseller

I’ve wanted to read this book since I heard about it last year! I finally ordered it earlier this month and surprise surprise, I accidentally ordered two. So, there WILL be a giveaway happening sometime in my blog’s future. Besides that, I’ve heard some really great things about this one and honestly, who doesn’t love pirates?

Carry On | Rainbow Rowell

Ever since my friend told me about Elanor & Park, I’ve been dying to get my hands on a Rainbow Rowell book. I bought this one first but haven’t cracked it open. Hopefully I can get to it sometime this month!

Strange the Dreamer | Lain Taylor

Received this one in the mail last Tuesday and haven’t gotten a chance to read it just yet. So far, I’ve only heard and read rave reviews on it. This one will probably be the first book I read this month!

A Conjuring of Light | V.E. Schwab

I just finished AGOS and my god, how could it end on such a cliffhanger?!??!?!? I need the last book NOW. I’ll be ordering the book sometime this week so I can get to reading it by next week!

WHAT I JUST READ

20764879

I couldn’t put this book down last night. I didn’t need sleep. I needed answers. I needed Lila and Kell to kiss and I needed more magical duels in my life. So I finished this one at 4 in the morning. Regrets? I have none.

Quick Thoughts: Amazing. Fabulous. V.E. Schwab is my new favorite author. Why can’t our world be like Red London? I want to be a pirate. Alucard Emery = SWOON.

My review for this one will hopefully come sometime this month!

My Next Read

28449207

I didn’t get a chance to read this one last week, but it’ll be my main squeeze this week! I’m SO EXCITED.

Bonus Book for April

ToG 3

If I stay on track with my reads and reviews, I might (and this is a mighty big might), be able to fit this one into my reading list for this month! Fingers crossed.

That’s all for now? What do you think of my April TBR? Have your read any of the books on my list? What are your thoughts on them if you have?

All right then, bye now! I’ll see ya soon! ❤

  1. I’m kinda jealous of you having a copy of Strange the Dreamer! I can’t wait to read it! The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is still one of my favourites and I’ve heard Strange the Dreamer is equally amazing!

    1. LOL, when do you think you might get it? I still need to finish her trilogy. Just have the last book to go! But I’ve heard Strange the Dreamer is amazing, too! My expectations are sky high right now haha

      1. I don’t know! Soon-ish I hope. I just bought quite a few books so I should probably have a book buying ban or something or it’s getting out of control!

      2. 😂 Oh no, I definitely see what you mean. It’s just so hard to control our bookish spending habits. Well, I hope you manage to get your hands on a copy soon! 😁

      1. Take that back Azia!! Adulting is not that cool! It’s too much to worry about: bills, jobs, marriage, kids, house, mortgage, etc.. not enough time to read!! hahaha.. but, Good Luck though!

      2. 😂 I know, but I’m excited to find a job at least so I can make money to buy books lol. That’s my goal in life tbh. Thanks, Jasmine! 😊

  2. 1. You HAVE to read ACOL 😍 2. I absolutely adore Carry On. If you start it and aren’t too sure about it (it reads a bit like a Harry Potter parody/fan fiction in the beginning) PLEASE keep reading. It’s worth it I promise 😊. This book makes me so happy and it’s one of those books you want to hug after finishing it.

    1. I’m gonna try real hard to read ACOL by next week because I NEED to know how it all ends. And I’ve heard so many great things about Carry On! And if it reads like a Harry Potter fan fiction, then that is A-okay with me 🙂 I won’t be putting it down haha. I’m so glad you love it! ❤ Makes me all the more excited to read it! 😀

  3. SO MANY GOOD BOOKS. I ordered Strange the Dreamer and Daughter of the Pirate King a week or so ago on Barnes and Noble, but the order hasn’t even processed yet 😢. ACOL is SO good, I hope you love it!! I wish you luck on this awesome TBR 😁

    1. I know right?! So excited to crack these books open and get lost in them 😀 And oh no! I hope those come in soon. I hate it when B&N takes forever to process an order. That’s why I mostly use Amazon prime shipping. Two days or less, McKenzie! LOL. Thank you! I hope I enjoy all these amazing reads ❤

      1. Oh that’s totally understandable then. That would put me off for a while too. Amazon once took three weeks to send me a book. After that, I started buying my books from brick and mortars for a while before I began to trust Amazon again LOL. Haven’t had a problem since! So, I support giving them another go 😀

    1. YAY! That makes me even more excited! 😀 I love hearing the positive reactions to all these books. Looks like my April will be a great reading month! Thank you! ❤

  4. Wow that is a fair few books for April Azia, but they are all amazing books so I hope you do get around to them and I hope you love them as well. I think you’ll love ACOL, especially after reading the cliffhanger ending to AGOS, and I just finished Strange the Dreamer myself and loved that one too so I hope it’s the same for you. I can’t wait to see your reviews for all these books. It sounds like you’ve got a lot to look forwards to in terms of your reads for the next month! 😀 ❤
