There was much to love about this book. And while the author tackles numerous social issues, the characters and their personal narratives are sorely lacking.

Sorcery of Thorns is the fantasy I didn't know that I needed in my life.
Though the plot isn't unique, Falling Kingdoms still entertains in its familiarity.
A Reaper at the Gates is a solid entry in this series!

As a debut, All the Stars and Teeth is solid. This was a fun, seafaring adventure highlighted with magic and mermaids, but the plot suffered a bit in execution.
It's been a while since I read a book by Melissa de la Cruz. Unfortunately, The Queen's Assassin was not the book for me.
