Reading Update

I’ve been very busy this month. Not particularly having to do with my actual job, but with my reading!!

It’s been a while since I’ve delved so deeply into books. My last year in university yielded far fewer reads than usual and after graduating last year, I haven’t managed to really get my reading mojo back. Eight books a month has seemed like a distant memory this past year. Not this month though!

So far I’ve completed seven novels, one of which that wasn’t listed on my June TBR, and I’ve also read some novellas on my kindle and have reread a couple of my favorite novellas on my nook in my spare time.

I’ll sum up all the books I’ve read and my thoughts on them in my wrap up for this month. So for now I’ll just show you what I’ve read and what I’m reading currently at the moment.

Currently Reading-2

Eliza and Her Monsters | Francesca Zappia

I had been hoping to read this at the beginning of the month, but I decided to read Save the Date instead. And after finishing that one up, I was in the mood for fantasy. So now I’m back in the contemporary mood and this is the next one up on my list. I’m already in love with the illustrations. Can’t wait to see how this book turns out.

Clockwork Angel | Cassandra Clare

This is part of my buddy read series with Daan @ A Library Monster. We’ve finished the 1st three books of TMI and since we’re kind of going in publication order, we decided to begin The Infernal Devices. I love this trilogy and rereading it only reminds me why I love it so much. It’s so great to see Tessa, Jem, and Will again ❤

If all goes according to plan, then I’ll finish up both Eliza and Clockwork by the end of this month and I will have finally read more than 4 books a month LOL. Oh how I love the feeling of being lost in a book 😉

Be on the lookout for some reviews in the next few days! Until then, thanks for stopping by and see you soon ❤
