Once a many year ago I was nominated by the lovely Ava @ Reads, Rhythms, and Ruminations to do this tag. And several months ago Maxxesbooktopia also nominated me for this wonderful award. Thank you to you both for nominating me and if y’all haven’t done so already, please please please visit their fabulous blogs 😀
The Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.
- Post about the award.
- Share 7 facts about yourself.
- Nominate (up to) 15 people.
- Let your nominees know you’ve nominated them.
Fact 1
I once had a beautiful violet-eyed Birman Siamese (Birmese) cat named Sassy, who I named after Sassy the Himalayan cat from one of my favorite movies as a kid, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. She passed away when I was very young, but her brother lived on to be about 13 or 14 years old!
Fact 2
I collect journals but rarely write in them. Those poor, poor beautifully bound volumes of stationery. One day you might be used. But probably not. I just like the way you look on my shelves.
Fact 3
Story Time: When I was younger I had a recurring dream that lasted for two months. I was standing in the middle of a dirt road, dead center of a mining town in the Old West. But on one side of the town was a pocket of vibrant life in a glistening metropolis with flying cars, AI systems, and a holographic park. The sun was setting, my dad was standing next to me, and something was coming. I pulled him away from the metropolis into the old theater opposite to it. Everyone was running and screaming. We hid behind the theater seats with other frightened people. A bright blue light flashed down from the sky and crawled across the horizon into our town. We were all encased in the light. Everyone was screaming. I closed my eyes. And when I opened them, everyone was gone. Disintegrated. Everyone except me.
Needless to say, it was pretty…foreboding.
Fact 4
I have a blue cruiser (bike) with a white basket and his name is Jesse.
Fact 5
During the summer before 8th grade, I attended an art camp named Arts-X-Press. I learned about the performing arts, sketched buildings, painted concepts, visited the Arts Festival in Laguna, attended The Pageant of the Masters for free, and enjoyed an outdoor performance by the Pacific Symphony under the stars. It was pretty cheesy and slightly annoying, but also tons of fun.
Fact 6
The first time I went to a rave (albeit a heavily monitored rave) was during ASB camp in 12th grade. Unexpected, but amazing.
Fact 7
The show that introduced me to anime was Bleach. I stayed up past midnight to watch it on Toonami even though I wasn’t supposed to. The anime that kept me interested, though, was Naruto. And the first anime that really blew my mind was Black Butler. I’ve been a mild fan of anime ever since.

It’s been a while since this one was floating around so I wouldn’t be surprised if some or all of you have already done it. Nevertheless, I love your blogs and so I give to you this lovely award! 😀
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you soon! ❤
Okay, I’m assuming I’m the Marta you tagged, right? haha if so, thank you ❤
Your facts seem so interesting, I'm out of things to tell people about me. I'll try my best!
Your dream sounds pretty disturbing, though. I used to have one of these too xD But did you ever find out what had happened? Any theories? 😛
It's so cute that you named your bike ^^

LOL, yes, you are the Marta ❤ I completely forgot to attach the links to everyone's sites before publishing this post haha. I'll update it soon!
I was running out of facts to share too, so I had to go down memory lane and see what was there haha
And not sure about the dream. It was one of the stranger recurring dreams (I've had three) I've ever had. I have a theory it was about a natural disaster or about nuclear radiation, but that might be reaching. I think my imagination was just running wild and it was influenced by all the sci-fi movies I was watching.
LOL, thanks. Jesse needs a tune up. Also a new basket! I'm thinking wicker haha XD

Well, I didn’t know until I open the post haha but thank you for tagging me! I think there aren’t that many Satous around XD Anime fans! For the win!
Thank you for the tag! I already checked the other two blogs! I will work on this today! :3

LOL, yeah I did a bad job tagging people this time around. Scheduled the post before finishing it. My bad haha. But yes! You are my tagee ❤ And yay! Another anime fan! Do you have a favorite?

I hope to read it soon! And Pokemon is a classic. Always a great choice. Haven’t had a chance to watch Claymore, though! I’ll have to look up your post sometime 😀

Yes! So so :3 Pokemon like I am a huge fan until last game haha and Claymore I liked better the manga than the anime xD

That dream sounds like a book ! A Sci-fi Horror genre bender 😂 I had a recurring dream some years ago too ! Though it wasn’t scary but more of the embarrassment-in-public type XD
You’re an anime fan ? Me tooo 😀 *jumps around and claps* Naruto blew my mind at several points too! But the new manga, Boruto, I’m less than eager to start, I just can’t let go of the original characters ! Black Butler I’ve been procrastinating on for way too long xD What other animes did you enjoy 💙?
Also, thank you so much for nominating me ❤ I'll put up my post ASAP 💙

Doesn’t it? Sure was a weird one. I think I had that dream when I was 11 or 12… And those embarrassment dreams are so evil haha. They’re so…embarrassing (Obviously I am not creative)
Yaaaaay! Naruto is fantastic. I loved the first series. I just started Shippuden actually. I’m really not interested in Boruto. Not yet anyways. I think I’d be too attached to the characters too. Black Butler is tons of fun. Sebastian is bae. The dub is best because J. Michael Tatum is the voice of Sebastian.
Some anime I’ve enjoyed recently/semi-recently have been Durarara, Attack on Titan, Madoka Magica, Magi, Tokyo Ghoul (just the first season and the manga), D. Gray Man, and a lot more!
And of course! I’d love to read it! Just gotta find the time to 😥

You don’t have to read it 😘 I know how exhausting it is to have time to do everything necessary by the minute, and no time to clear for leisure 😣 I’ve been hesitant on watch7ng or reading, sub or dub ! Attack on titan is love 😍 I’m yet to find time to catch up on the manga xD

I’ll do like a mass blog-hop near the end of this month and hit up some of my favorite bloggers to remind them how amazing I think they are ❤ LOL. That is, if my schedule allows me to. But I'll make it work!
Ah to sub or not to sub. That is the question. I'm personally attached to the dub for Black Butler, but for most other anime, I support the sub. Emotions and intent usually come across better in the original language. I will never catch up on the AoT manga. I've accepted this LOL *cries in corner*

I’ve been having something like that on my mind for a while now XD still didn’t find time to properly bloghop since 😂 I’m falling further and further behind myself 😭 But I have a very smol hope to catch up in summer… I hope 😂 You can do it too ! Reading the manga is much faster than the rate the chapters come out, or at least on holidays. Here, *gives you cookies*

Yeah, I was planning to blog hop at the end of October, but as you can see, that never happened LOL. I had work ’til late on Halloween and so my energy levels were nonexistent when I got home. I’m gonna try to get some hopping done throughout this week. I am so so so behind now haha. *Eats cookies* Thanks, frand ❤ XD

Anytime buddy 😂💙 Wow, I just had a weird thought: if you reverse the n of ‘frand’ it becomes ‘fraud’, so there you go, a new and disguised insult 😂
Oh, if I was years behind I’m millennia behind now 😂 I end up with nonexistent energy at the end of every day too 😭 I keep hoping for one tiny smol exception to blog hop xD

LOL, you make a good point XD
Sometimes I have the time to blog hop, just not the motivation. We’ll get there. One day…

Yeah! Same with me ! And then I keep scrolling and scrolling with no small amount of angst and I’m like ~today I don’t feel like saying aaaaanything 😂

Yup, that exact feeling has been my downfall. But I’m planning to be better! To motivate myself, I got a whiteboard for bloghopping! I always do a little better with a little planning and a whiteboard lol

Woah, now THAT is hardcore organization 😂true story; last time I got a whiteboard I ended up drawing a duck on it and then not wanting to erase it, thus never using the whiteboard again 😂

Oh your second fact could literally be one of mine (in fact I think it may have been one of mine for one of the other tags I’ve taken part in that require facts about myself). I just can’t resist pretty journals but then I never write anything in them. I’ve put myself on a buying ban until I start actually using some of the ones I already have. 🙂
That art camp sounds like a lot of fun, who cares if it was cheesy if you enjoyed yourself right, and wow that is definitely a foreboding dream. I’d have been terrified if I’d been having it.
Great facts, and great post Azia. 😀 ❤

LOL, I think I remember you saying something similar about the journals haha. I’ve put myself on a ban too. So many pretty journals, but no use for all of them just yet 😦
Art camp was tons of fun. I really had a great time. Wish I could do it again, honestly. And yeah, that dream was terrifying. I hated that it kept coming back every night. I think I was about 11 or 12 when I had it. Not fun haha
Thanks so much, Beth! ❤

I have some ideas for what I can do with the many journals I have, just need to be motivated to actually do them you know?
There was a summer camp I used to go to as a young teen I wish I could go back to, always the way isn’t it? Oh I had a dream once that was terrifying beyond belief, very glad that never came back.
That’s all right! 😀 ❤

Oh yeah, I get that. Most journals I use for random story thoughts and brainstorms, others I use to record some of my favorite songs. But I have never filled up an entire journal. I think I’ll start using some of them as dream journals! I feel like I can make short stories from a few of my dreams, so it’d be good to have them written down somewhere.
I wish I had the chance to go to more summer camps. The Parent Trap had always convinced me they’d be super fun LOL XD

Most of my journals I’m waiting for inspiration to hit before I even attempt to fill them out. So even if you never finish yours you’re still a step ahead of me in terms of actually starting them. 🙂

One day inspiration will strike. Hope it’s something amazing! 😀
