Hello! Hi! Hey! 🙂 I love book tags. They’re so much fun. But do you know what could make them even better? That’s right. Memes 😉
I’ve only made one meme in my life (I usually like to find them on Facebook and send them to my friends because that’s what my life has become), but this time I made some of my own!
- Pingback to creator (Icebreaker694) ALWAYS!
- Link back to the person who tagged you and thank them.
- Answer the questions.
- Provide a meme for each question (*different than mine)
- Tag 7+ people, don’t kill the tag!
“GRUMPY CAT” — A BOOK YOU HAVE NEGATIVE FEELINGS ABOUT
It | Stephen King
I’m not saying I hate this book, just that it has caused me to have a pretty deep, dark fear of clowns and storm drains. That’s all. And yet, I plan to see the movie…
“WHAT IF I TOLD YOU” — A BOOK YOU SPOILED FOR YOURSELF
Allegiant | Veronica Roth
I didn’t so much ruin this book myself as I had it ruined for me. Although, I was standing close to friends who were talking about the series. My fault for not walking away once they started talking about the ending…
“I DON’T ALWAYS MAN” — A BOOK YOU DON’T ALWAYS LIKE, BUT WHEN YOU’RE READING IT YOU DO
Mrs. Dalloway | Virginia Woolf
I had to read this book several times for university, and every time I saw it on the syllabus, I got frustrated. But every time I read it, I was totally fine with the book. It’s not my favorite classic, but I guess it’s not the worst.
“60’S SPIDERMAN” — A GOOD CLASSIC OR RETRO BOOK THAT’LL NEVER GET OLD
Wuthering Heights | Emily Brontë
I’m gonna go with Sophie on this one. Wuthering Heights is my secret obsession.
“JUST LITTLE THINGS” — A BOOK THAT’S VERY RELATABLE
The Unexpected Everything | Morgan Matson
I feel like all of Matson’s books are pretty relatable. This one really resonated with me because I, too, was looking for a job for the summer. And dog-walking didn’t sound half bad, at a certain point 😉
“DEMOTIVATIONAL” — A BOOK THAT YOU’VE SEEN ALMOST EVERYWHERE
Eliza and Her Monsters | Francesca Zappia
No matter where I look, I keep seeing this book EVERYWHERE. On WordPress, on Goodreads, on Twitter, and on Instagram…I really want to read it now.
“YOU DON’T SAY” — A PREDICTABLE BOOK
Stalking Jack the Ripper| Kerri Maniscalco
I figured out who the killer was not even half way through the book. For me, the clues were glaringly obvious. So, in the end, this book was hella predictable. But I still freaking loved it. And I can’t wait for the second book to come out this month!
“ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY” — ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY BINGE READ THE ENTIRE BOOK (A BOOK YOU BINGE READ)
A Court of Mist and Fury | Sarah J. Maas
I devoured this book within a day. Couldn’t. Stop. Reading. No ragrets 😉
“CHEMISTRY CAT”— A BOOK THAT TAUGHT YOU SOMETHING NEW
When Dimple Met Rishi | Sandhya Menon
Not only is this a cute YA contemporary, it also taught me a bit about Indian culture and language!
“PET MEMES” — A BOOK THAT’S JUST REALLY ADORABLE
Geekerella | Ashley Poston
This retelling of Cinderella is so freaking adorable. Loved how the two MCs are part of a fandom. The ending is cheesy and predictable but also so so cute 🙂
