Birthday, Blog Redesign, and Upcoming Blogiversary

Hey guys! Since graduating, I’ve had sooooo much more time to dedicate to my blog and it’s been wonderful! I still have a lot of catching up to do, but I’ll get there eventually. Probably. Sorta. Maybe…Who knows….

But I’ve finally gotten the time to think up new ideas for bookish posts and to create a new look for my blog’s much needed revamping!

Why Redesign Now?

Wellll, I’ve had the same design for almost a year now, and while I love how my blog looks, I think it wouldn’t hurt to try something new! Also, I’d been planning to redesign my blog about six months back, but never got around to it.

What About the Birthday?

Why, yesss!! Last Saturday (June 17) was my birthday and I am now one year older! Yayyyyy **waves flag weakly* Anywho, I had been planning on doing something special on my blog, but completely forgot to do much of anything that day. Didn’t have a party, didn’t have dinner with friends or family, didn’t see a movie. Nothin’. Although, I did take myself to get dessert and wine. So, that’s something.

To make up for it, I decided the best way to commemorate my getting older was to finally go through with a redesign! I’ve got all the feature images and other little graphics, and I’ve decided on trying out a new WordPress theme! So everything’s ready to go!

The redesign will launch tomorrow, so please visit when you have time! I’d love to hear your thoughts on it 😀

Upcoming Blogiversary and Other Ideas

NEXT MONTH, ON JULY 19TH, MY BLOG TURNS ONE!!!!! I’m so happy with how far I’ve come and I really appreciate both the reading and blogging community for encouraging me to keep this up. I’m having a blast! 😀

I was going to reveal the new design on that day but I’m too excited about the new look to wait that long. So, I’ll probably be doing a giveaway and Q+A for my blogiversary! You know, the usual 😉

Besides that bit of news, I’ve decided that I might begin posting book discussions very soon! For the past few weeks, I’ve been compiling a list of topics and I’m finally ready to begin sharing some of them with you!

Oh it sounds like some exciting changes for you Azia! 😀 Happy (belated) birthday for the 17th, I hope you had a wonderful day and got loads of books as presents as well. 🙂 Also I really can’t wait to see your new design.     1. Thank you, Beth! ❤ It was a pretty chill day. Nothing crazy haha. I'm so excited to reveal the new design. I'm so proud of myself for finding out how to do all of it haha. I love your new look, btw. It's so clean and easy to read!

  7. Ahhh I’m super late to this but happy belated birthday and happy belated blogiversary!!
    I’m not sure what your blog looked like before because I read posts on the WordPress app and you can’t really see the theme or much of anything on there, but it’s certainly pretty now! Good job x Also congrats on graduating!
