What Am I Reading This Week?

So I took another little break from blogging because of an illness that kept me down for about two weeks. Needless to say, I’m really behind on reviews and I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. I also need to see what you guys have been up to!

While I’m doing that, I’ll be doing a lot of reading to catch up with my GR goal of 100 books. Apparently, I’m 8 books behind, so I’ve gotta get moving!

Initial Thoughts: Adorable. Love the geeky references (I understood about 95% of them, which means I’m a geek..And I’m 100% proud of it!!). The cover is just as wonderful as the story inside. Great characters. Cute romance. Points for diversity. Probably 4 stars.

Notes: I don’t use the word cheeky much but this book is basically the definition of it. It’s absolutely hilarious. And I love the characters. Jane is my spirit animal. G too. And my god, all those nose jokes are simply perfection. This one is quickly becoming a favorite.

I might start this one later in the week, possibly by Thursday. Saturday at the latest. I’ve heard some really great things about it so I’m really excited to see how it goes. Also, who doesn’t love the chance to read a Beauty and the Beast retelling?

If I manage to get through these two books this week, that means I’ll have 5 more books to read to get me back on track with my GR goal!

Thanks for stopping by! See ya soon! ❤

    1. Yaaas you must!! It was so adorable. And I’ve read only a few pages in Hunted but I like it so far! I’m a sucker for Beauty and the Beast retellings lol. And I am feeling much better, thank you! ❤

    1. Yeah, it’s a lot, but I might be able to make it! 😀 My reviews, however, will be taking a nosedive. I’ll be reading too quickly to keep up with them. I’ve just been in school for so long that I’m taking advantage of my free time XD My goal will probably be smaller next year!

  1. I still have Geekerella on my to-read list. I’m really hoping to start it soon though because I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it and what you’ve wrote in your post just now has only made me more determined to start it ASAP!
I really hope you enjoy both My Lady Jane and Hunted Azia, although it certainly seems like you’re enjoying My Lady Jane so far! That was a favourite book of mine last year. I also liked Hunted too so I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on that book. I certainly can’t pass up a Beauty and the Beast retelling either! Great post Azia. 😀 ❤

    1. I really hope you get to Geekerella sometime soon! It’s freaking adorable 🙂 I think you’d love it!
I just finished My Lady Jane, and oh my god, Beth, I’m in love. It’s already a favorite. I think it’s the type of book I could reread several times. It’s just so much fun. And I’ve just started Hunted today and although I’m only a few pages in, I can tell I might like it quite a bit. Excited to see how it’ll go!
      Thanks, Beth! ❤

      1. Thanks Azia, I really hope so too. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.
Oh that’s amazing to hear, now I know I need your review for that book Azia! 😀 It’s a book I want to re-read as well because it’s been nearly a year since I first picked it up. I hope you enjoy the rest of Hunted as well.
        That’s all right! 😀 ❤

      2. Haha, one day I shall write that review. If I play my cards right and really focus, maybe I can get it out around next week! 😀
And I hope so too! I’m sure it’ll be good 🙂

  2. Glad to hear you really enjoyed Geekerella, Azia! 😊 I’ve heard some good things about that one and have it sitting on my TBR so hopefully I get to reading it myself sometime soon. Also, I’ve heard so many things about My Lady Jane and how funny it is. I’ve had that one sitting on my Kindle for way too long now and need to get to reading it. Hopefully before the end of the year but we’ll see. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on it whenever you finish reading it! 😁

    1. I really did! It was a cute, modern update on Cinderella. I saw quite a bit of influence coming from Ever After (the one with Drew Barrymore) rather than the original Disney tale! Have you seen that one? And I absolutely adored My Lady Jane. It’s legitimately hilarious. Great romance and fantastic characters. I think you’d love it 😀

      1. I think I’ve seen Ever After. I’m not entirely sure but if I have it was so long ago that I don’t remember. I’ll have to look it up and watch it sometime soon lol. Glad to hear you enjoyed My Lady Jane! I’m definitely going to have to move it up TBR. 😁

      2. Oh you must watch it again! I think it’s my favorite version of Cinderella 😀 And I really did. Definitely one of my top reads of 2017 so far!
