The Questions
Why did you start a blog in the first place?
Well, the original reason was to share my writing and to reach out to fellow writers and readers. I had also just come back from Ireland and I had some really lovely pictures I wanted to share. So, I started my blog with that idea in mind. But then I had begun reading more and more books over the summer and had rejoined Goodreads. Pretty soon my writing and traveling blog turned into a bookish blog with the occasional writing and travel pic!
What is your favourite book?
This is what I call the impossible question. It’s so hard to choose! One book that I’ve loved for a while, though, is By the Light of the Moon by Dean Koontz, although I’m sure I only love it because it’s my first Koontz book. Besides that, my favorites that I read this past year were Six of Crows and ACOMAF. I’m sure I’ll continue loving those books until the end of time.
What do you dislike the most?
Hm. I dislike a good number of things. Apparently, I’m a really salty person. Who knew? But one of the things I dislike the most are people who walk right behind me. Like, there is plenty of space on this sidewalk, stranger. There’s room over there and there and there. You do NOT need to walk right. behind. me.
What is your favourite food item from the mall?
I rarely visit the mall, and if I ever do go, I rarely eat at the mall. My goal is to get what I need and leave before it gets even more crowded. But if I were to spend a little more time there, I suppose my favorite food item would be a Wetzel Pretzel. Those things are heavenly.
What is your favourite pastime?
Reading? Writing? Watching Netflix?….Okay, no. I’ll be a little more creative. Let’s say… playing video games with my brother. And by this I mean I am in the background telling him where to go and what to do while I sit back in his bed enjoying a great cup of coffee and typing up a new blog post, even while he keeps glancing back at me and pouting because I’m not really watching him play Assassin’s Creed or Skyrim. Now, that’s my favorite pastime.

Great answers 😀 Lol on that you are a really salty person. Assassins Creed and Skyrim are really fun games, don’t you play them yourself?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Thank you! LOL, I really am XD And I play them sometimes, but I prefer action adventure games like Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Dishonored and Red Dead Redemption. I’m also addicted to Sims. Sometimes I like 1st person shooters, specifically Borderlands. I always end up accidentally killing someone in both Assassins and Skyrim LOL XD So, I tend to avoid them and just watch someone more adept play those type of games haha

I must admit that I haven’t played Assasins Creed myself, but I know about it. But I love Skyrim. I also think Action Adventures are really fun to play. I have to play Dishonored soon, have been planning to play it for a really long time haha. I’m addicted to Sims too, I’m actually playing it now haha.

I love to collect the quests in Skyrim. It’s safer that way LOL XD And I love Dishonored. It’s an amazing game. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I am now. And I need to get Sims 4! I’m still playing Sims 3 on my PS3 lol

I recommend you to get Sims 4 on pc instead of console, if you have a pc that can run games 🙂

I don’t, unfortunately, but it’s a goal of mine. I hear Sims is much more fun on PC than on console. It has more features I hear 🙂

Yes it is, but it gets expensive with all the expansion packs and game packs. I have to have them all, but that is ok because Sims is something I really enjoy 😛 The only thing I use my money on besides things I need, is Sims and books haha.

Hey, Sims is a great place to put your money. You have to support your virtual family somehow LOL

Hahaha yes, I have an obligation to get them new furniture and adventures 😛

Omg I live Ireland 🇮🇪 great post and ‘what is your favourite book’ is an evil question really 😂

Yaaaay! Ireland is certainly wonderful 😀 And it definitely is. Who can answer it, really?? LOL

Thanks so much for the tag Azia, I’m looking forwards to taking part in this one and answering the questions as well.
I loved your answers too. I always like seeing what inspired people to start their blogs and it’s pretty interesting how yours has changed from a writing and travel blog to more of a reading blog. Do you still post about your travels?
Also I completely agree on choosing one favourite book but A Court of Mist and Fury and Six of Crows are two wonderful choices, and favourites of mine as well!
Thanks again for the tag Azia! 🙂

No worries! 😀
And not really. I just post a picture here and there, and even that’s becoming pretty rare for me. My blog might soon turn into a bookish writer’s blog only haha.
Why is it so hard to choose just one book haha. But I’m glad you love them, too! They’re definitely some mind-blowing reads.
And of course! Enjoy! ❤

I guess on one hand that’s a little bit of a shame but on the other if bookish writing works for you then why worry right?
Because they’re all so amazing and all in so many different ways. I kind I settle for my top five rather than trying to pick only one! 😀

Exactly! I wish I had more pics to share, but I’m really enjoying book/writing blogging. So, I think it’ll be okay haha.
Very true! I usually try top 10 because I haven’t even got my top 5 figured out just yet LOL

Also, just a heads up, this comment and several of your most recent ones fell into my spam box! Just letting you know if you were wondering why your comments might not have shown up on my blog or anyone else’s 🙂

Yeah I did notice that. I posted about it earlier (yesterday for me actually) I’ve emailed Askimet and I’m hoping it’s fixed now but either way thanks for unspamming me. 🙂

I totally get that thing with people walking behind me, but it’s more usual for me to be the one walking behind people and it’s weird as well. It usually happens on the sidewalk between the bus stop and my school. I walk really fast and so I quickly reach them, but I can’t move because there are cars parked literally everywhere and it becomes really awkward until either the person starts to walk faster or I find a space between cars. 😂

LOL, that’s happened to me before. I know it’s hard to avoid walking right behind a person in some cases, but it’s so awkward for both people 😂 It’s one of those weird pet peeves that can’t be avoided haha

You’ve visited Ireland!? Lucky! Ireland is on the top of my travel bucket list. My dad’s family is from there and of course it’s so gorgeous. Plus, I want to write a book set in Ireland using Irish mythology and such so I really want to visit for writing purposes. Hopefully one day! Also, I so do that video game thing with my sister. Except I get way too distracted to actually blog and watch and just end up “back seat” video game playing where I’m telling my sister where to go. She gets so annoyed at me. 😂
Thanks so much for the tag, Azia!! 💕😊

I have! 😀 I studied abroad in Ireland for the 2016 spring semester. I got to live in Galway for about 5 months. I visited mostly because I had written a character who was from there but I didn’t know anything about the place, so I went to check it out haha. Best time of my life. And that’s so cool that your dad’s family is from there! I think you’d love it. It’s incredibly beautiful and the people are really lively haha. Hope you manage to visit soon, especially for writing purposes 😀
Personally, I love gaming, but I love watching more haha. I try to blog, but my brother (he’s older btw) gets so sad when I’m not paying attention and giving him advice that I mostly do “back seat” gaming 😂
And of course! 😊 💕

That’s awesome! I wish online school had a study abroad program but sadly they don’t. It must have been amazing getting to live there for 5 months. I feel like if I ever do get to visit I’ll never want to leave. 😂
I need to start saving up travel money lol.
I think I like watching less and gaming more only because when whoever I’m watching messes up I just want to grab the controller. 🙈
That’s cool that your brother likes getting your advice while gaming. My sister tells me to shush lol.

Ah which online school are you enrolled in?! And what do you study?? And it WAS amazing. Best experience of my life. I felt at home there, so it was extremely difficult to have to leave Hopefully I can go back one day.
And that’s a great idea! Which places are you interested in visiting? I’d love to do a road trip around the states first. There’s so much to see here before I travel around the world 😀
LOL. I definitely get that. It gets so frustrating watching Markiplier or Pewds play because they do things I would never do haha. Which games do you like to play?

Southern New Hampshire University and I’m studying English and Creative Writing. 😊
Aside from Ireland I really wanting to visit Scotland, England, Amsterdam, and so many other places. I really want to visit Japan as well and Romania. I also want to road trip around the states too. I wish I could spend my whole live traveling. If only it was free. 😂
I’m big into the RPG type games. Like Final Fantasy, FFX is my favorite. Kingdom Hearts, the Sword Art Online games, Naruto ones. Stuff like that. 😊

Awesome! And yay! Me too 😉 English (Creative Writing) majors unite! And I’d love to visit those places, too! I’ve been to Scotland but I’d love to go back. It’s AMAZING, Melissa. You’d love it. Oh I know! Travelling without costs is the dream.
Ooooh great choices! I LOVE FF and Kingdom Hearts. Have you played FFXV yet?? SOA is the ish. Love the anime, but haven’t played the game I’ll have to try it sometime!

You’ve been to Scotland!? Lucky! It seems like an amazing place and gorgeous. Hopefully I can visit one day! Right? Or at the very least cheaper traveling.
I haven’t yet but I want to! And you should so check out Sword Art Online Lost Song. People say it isn’t as good as the one other SAO game but I’ve loved it so far. 😊

I have! It was possibly my favorite place that I visited when I was travelling around. 😀 I really hope you get there one day!
I’ve heard great things about FFXV, so hopefully I can get to play that one day. And I’ll definitely try to get my hands on SAO Lost Song 😀

Thank you Sammie!! 💕 And pretzels are the best food in our malls. Although, I’m not sure what else we have because I don’t get anything other than the pretzels 😂 So I might be a little biased LOL. What sort of food do your malls have?? I’m intrigued haha.

I’m so jealous of your Ireland trip, I can’t even tell you.
Ugh, I hope you don’t get people walking right up behind you often; just once is plenty, I’m sure.
Ha, I love that you’re the multitasking mastermind, coolly maintaining your blogging and social media presence while directing your minion on exactly how to smite your video game enemies.
Thanks for the tag!

It was amazing! I hope everyone finds their way to the places they’ve always wanted to visit. It’s a wonderful feeling to finally get there 😊
LOL, I really enjoy my “back seat” gaming, especially since my bro doesn’t mind being bossed around. He’s hella blind when it comes to finding hidden objects and treasures. I’m his second set of eyes haha.
And of course! It’s well deserved 😁
