Bye-Bye November & Hello December!

Well, this post is a little late in coming but let’s not talk about that….

I can’t believe how quickly November went by! One minute I was eating turkey and chillin with pumpkin spices, the next I’m seeing christmas lights and stocking up on peppermint!

But I can’t really complain. December is my favorite month, for all sorts of reasons. Ham and eggnog, peppermint and hot chocolate, christmas decor and Home Alone showings. Gifts and gift giving. Christmas music and Disneyland. All things good and all things happy. And best of all? The end of school!!

Winter break is a’comin, my friends, and I got several book and Netflix binges planned out for my four weeks of relaxation. Forewarning: my blog is gonna BLOW UP with all sorts of content and I’m so excited to get fully invested in my blog for the next few weeks after finals! So please look forward to that.

But before we look forward, how’s about we take a look back at my November and see how I did?

  • Keep Up With My Reviews: I’m behind on my reviews again, as I read Heartless about two to three weeks ago and I still haven’t posted a review. So, hopefully this month, I can get my reviews posted in a timely manner!
  • Reduce My TBR: I’ll do this by continuing to participate in the Down the TBR Hole meme, but I’ll also start reading some of the books I have on there! It’s about time I actually pay attention to my TBR.
  • Binge Books and TV Shows: I’ve got a lot of books and series I either have to start or finish. Hopefully, there’s enough days during break for me to get through a good number of them!
  • Keep In Contact With My Friends: I have a tendency to just disappear when school’s out. I don’t really pay attention to my phone when I’m relaxing, so it seems like I don’t care to keep in contact with friends. That’s not entirely true, but I do like to be left alone to read or hang out with my family. But I’ll try to stay social this holiday season!
  • Maintain My Blog and Update My Blog’s Appearance: I’ll be posting some new and old content on my blog. And my posts will be much more consistent over break. But I’d also like to update my blog’s look. Not sure how, but I think it needs a new header, at least. What do y’all think?

How did I do this month? I think I did okay all things considered. I’m behind on my reviews again, but only by two. So, not too bad.

I’ll be doing a separate post for my December TBR because I’ve got so many books on my list that this post would be way too hella long. I’m hoping to read at least 20 books. Hopefully more!! So be on the lookout for the next post and I’ll see ya very soon!!

  1. I see you have a good reading month! So many 4-5 stars! I want to read many of those books too! I love Christmas music too and I can’t drink eggnog. It smells funny to me 😂 Enjoy your 4 weeks winter break!

    1. I was so surprised a good many of them were so good! And I would have added Heartless and Rose Society as two more 4 stars for the month if I’d done the reviews on time haha. Eggnog’s definitely not for everyone LOL. It took me a while to get used to. It’s great when mixed with some really strong coffee! And thank you! 😀

  2. Those are some great goals you have set for yourself for this month! I’m also behind on reviews and hoping to get caught up sometime soon. Good luck reaching all of your goals! And congrats on reading 7 books this past month. That’s awesome! Happy winter reading! 😊

I can’t wait to see what you have in store blog wise and such for December. I know exactly what you mean about getting some major blogging done. I hope December is as good a reading month for you as November was. 😊
